On April 23, 2018, BC saw a coordinated same-day rally in Vancouver and Victoria where Christian supremacist group Culture Guard, the Hells Angels, and White supremacist group Soldiers of Odin converged as a socially-conservative show of force pressing for the removal of the existing SOGI component of the BC education curriculum, put in place in recent years to help increase the inclusion of the LGBTQ2+ community.
